April 14 – Donuts with Democrats

Saturday, April 14th
10:00 am to 12:00 pm

Smyrna Community Center
200 Village Green Circle SE
Smyrna, GA 30080

Without question the “go-to” event for Democratic politics in Cobb County.  If you are looking to get plugged in and help Georgia turn Blue, this is where it starts!

Space is limited, so please reserve your seat now!  (RSVP here)

Come out and spend the morning with candidates, elected officials and strong Democrats of Cobb County.  Bring your signs, wear your shirts and come ready to support Democratic candidates as they ramp up their campaigns and ask for your support.

2017 was a good year for Democrats in Cobb, Georgia and across the country, but 2018 has to be even better!  If you are looking to get plugged in and help Georgia turn Blue, this is where it starts.

Former State Representative John Noel will be our featured speaker this month. Noel, who lives in Atlanta, is seeking the Democratic nomination for the District 3 Public Service Commission seat now held by Republican Chuck Eaton. He has one fellow Democratic challenger, Lindy Miller.  Noel is the founder and president of Energy + Environment, an energy-efficiency company he started nearly 20 years ago.

Falak Hindas, Executive Director at the Georgia House Democratic Caucus, is our guest speaker.  Ms. Hindas will talk about her role and responsibilities with the caucus, the session wrap which was her first as Executive Director and 2018 election challenges and opportunities.  She is a Cobb County native, Walton HS graduate, UGA undergraduate, GSU JD and the former Executive Assistant to the House Caucus Leader.

Please remember to bring non-perishable food items for donation to Must Ministries.

This is a free event.  Coffee, donuts and other refreshments are available for $5.00.  We also greatly appreciate financial donations to help us cover venue costs.
