City of Acworth 2025 Municipal Election


To help connect the public with candidates in municipal races, the Cobb County Democratic Committee has reviewed candidates whose values align with ours and is recommending select individuals. All candidates on this page were invited to complete a questionnaire, and responses are shared where available.


Key Election Dates:


  • Early Voting: October 14–31, 2025
  • Election Day: November 4, 2025
  • Runoff (if needed): December 2, 2025


Early voting includes two Saturdays and one Sunday.

Kimberly Haase, a business owner and community advocate, is running for Acworth Alderman Post 4 with a focus on inclusivity, innovation, and sustainable growth. Inspired by her Michigan upbringing and guided by values of loyalty, authenticity, dedication, and youthful energy, she aims to strengthen civic engagement and ensure all residents feel represented in local government. Her priorities include bridging the digital divide, promoting diversity, supporting local businesses, and maintaining fiscal and environmental responsibility. Haase emphasizes transparency and accountability through citizen participation, open communication, and community outreach across all neighborhoods. Rooted in servant leadership, she seeks to foster a vibrant, equitable, and forward-looking Acworth where every voice has a place in shaping the city’s future.
